To celebrate the 25th anniversary of the TV anime Digimon Adventure 02, we are releasing the D-3 DIGIMON DETECT & DISCOVER -25th COLOR EVOLUTION-, an updated version of the "D-3" originally released in 2000, now featuring a color LCD screen and other enhancements.

The product will be available in 3 different colors. The standard version "D-3 DIGIMON DETECT & DISCOVER -25th COLOR EVOLUTION- Daisuke Motomiya Color / Ken Ichijouji Color" is based on the body color of the "D-3" toy released in June 2000, but with added glitter molding to enhance its luxurious detail.

The exterior of the unit is newly designed based on the shape of the 2000 release. In addition to the color LCD and rechargeable battery, the device also features a built-in vibration motor, all without compromising on size. The color LCD enables not only colored characters but also colored backgrounds, adding a dynamic and immersive atmosphere, with different backgrounds for different areas.

In addition to the Digimon, the "Chosen Children" (the main characters) also appear in the adventure. You will encounter characters like Taichi and his friends as middle schoolers, as well as "Digimon Kaiser," "Arukenimon," "Mummymon," and "Yukio Oikawa."

The device has a built-in rechargeable battery, and you can charge it using the included USB Type-C charging cable.

Features

• In this product, players select a partner Digimon and become a "Chosen Child," embarking on an adventure through the vast Digital World and the real world, experiencing the story of Digimon Adventure 02. The game also includes the iconic Digital Gate effects from the anime.
• While adventuring, the BGM "Target Red Shock (TV Size)" will play, and you can also listen to new partner Digimon voices recorded for the game via button inputs. Over 120 Digimon, including partner Digimons, are included, along with boss Digimons that appear according to the story.
• There are three types of battle play: "Tap," "Shake," and "Press specified buttons." During evolution scenes, dynamic animation-like visuals play, and each evolution has its own unique music. You can also enjoy the powerful evolution scenes, including "Armor Evolution," "Jogress Evolution," and "Mode Change," enhanced by vibration effects from the built-in motor.
• Through training, you can collect "Digimental Search Points" and conduct a Digimental Search with a search screen that replicates the in-game visuals. This allows you to search for Digimental fragments required for "Armor Evolution."
• The game includes not only the adventure but also a play mode where you can replay the songs and voices. Over 250 words of new voice recordings are included, with original voice cast members from the anime reprising their roles for the "Chosen Children" and their partner Digimons. Note: Hiroaki Hirata’s new voice recording is not included.
• Additional features include a "Picnic Screen" where you can interact with your partner Digimons, such as by eating together or sitting around a campfire, and you can see various scenes with your partner Digimons. A collection feature is also included, allowing you to check out the Digimons you have added to your team throughout the adventure.
• The familiar communication feature is also supported, allowing for communication battles with other D-3 DIGIMON DETECT & DISCOVER -25th COLOR EVOLUTION- devices, as well as other released Digivice -25th COLOR EVOLUTION-, Digital Monster COLOR, and Digimon Pendulum COLOR devices.
